What's your role at Suzanne's Sewing?
My role is to help people with their appointments, clean, press, and organize whatever is needed. Basically assist Suzanne & the girls keep the store running smoothly.
3. What made you want to work in the bridal industry?
My mom worked for Suzanne and part of the time she was working for her was when she was pregnant with me, so I grew up hearing stories about Suzanne and the bridal shop and visiting whenever we were in the area. It was always one of my favorite things to hear about and I always wanted to work doing sewing and alterations just like my mom.
What's your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is talking to people and hearing about all their plans and how excited they are for their weddings.
What do you like to do when you're not working?
I like roller skating, theatre, and pretty much anything related to art and music. Right now, my favorite mediums are acrylic painting and ceramics and I’m working in the costume committee for my school play.
What's your personal favorite part of a wedding day?
I love the first dance because of how excited and happy the couple looks and how happy everyone is for them (and because I love dancing)
Lily is so creative and has the biggest smile. She has such a passion for working with brides & creating an experience for them during their alteration process.
