All About Appointments

Thank you for your interest in using Suzanne's Sewing Service for your bridal gown alterations. Please note that we only do bridal gown alterations at this time due to our current workload.

We are pleased to offer two appointment types.

Wedding Gown First Fittings - A first fitting is when you are ready to begin your alterations process! At this fitting you’ll need your undergarments, your shoes and fullpayment for services will be required. These first fittings can be booked during store hours with availability and based upon timeline. Please note that we require a minimum of 12 weeks before your wedding.  for alterations. If you have less than 12 weeks there will be a rush charge incurred and we may not be able to accommodate your alterations. All follow-up appointments MUST be scheduled in person or by phone and are usually done at your first fitting. They cannot be made by this scheduler.

Wedding Gown Consultations - A consultation is when you are unsure of if you will be working with our team for your alterations or want to know more of a specific estimated quote for your gown alterations other than the given range. There will be no pinning at this appointment so we can only offer a close estimate. Consultations can only be booked on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11-2 with a charge of $50 for our time and expertise. If you book a first fitting within 30 days of consultation or decide at your consultation to use our services and pay for your alterations, your $50 will be credited towards your alterations. This appointment would be good if you were looking into design changes and unsure if you want us to make them come to life.
