As you may remember, just a few weeks ago Suzanne's Sewing was hiring an alterations assistant. And we're so happy to announce that we have hired Keelyn. As a photographer, she has such an eye for detail and her smile lights up the room. She's a great addition to the Suzanne's Sewing team. Since we've been getting to know her for the last few weeks, we thought we'd introduce you to her this week on the blog!

What's your role at Suzanne's Sewing?
I’m an alterations assistant for Suzanne! Which means I help keep the shop organized and assist Suzanne is prepping for alterations appointment. I help customers in and out of their gowns and schedule their next fittings.
What made you want to work in the bridal industry?
I wanted to work the bridal industry after helping my sister with her wedding and seeing how intense it is. I just want to help brides look and feel their best for their special day! Every bride deserves to feel as special as they are.
What's your favourite part of your job?
Oh man, I have to just pick one favorite?! I think my absolute favorite is the look on their face when it all comes together at the last fitting. After hearing all about their wedding from the moment they come in, to the very last fitting when their eyes just sparkle seeing themselves in the finished product. It’s such a heartwarming experience, and it just makes me so happy to see these beaming brides.
What do you like to do when you're not working? When I’m not working for Suzanne, I’m busy hanging out with my sweet little niece! I’m also a freelance creative concept photographer!
What's your personal favourite part of a wedding day?
My personal favorite part of a wedding day is the pictures! Whether I’m in front of the camera or behind it, I absolutely love being able to capture moments with loved ones!
